I used the "Chick with Brains" stamp set and "Icy Sky" rumple ribbon on my card.

I love the owl in the stamp set! Isn't she/he the cutest?! I made this card to give to my daughter at the end of the school year. LOVE the sentiment!!

LBC Layout

Hey all!
I want to show off a layout I made recently featuring Lovebug Creations rumple ribbon.
I started with this sketch from PageMaps:


Here is my layout:

I used the "lemonade" ribbon from the "pink lemonade" collection. I love mixing patterns & colors just as I did here. I have also used a mix of manufacturers. The papers are from Crate Paper, Simple Stories & Sassafrass. The "let's tell time" card is from OA; the bus stop chippy, lunchbox chippy & "my girl" title are from Crate also; the "7" tag is from Studio Calico; the numbers border is also from SC; the yellow alphas are from AC.

Taking Flight

Hey there!
I want to share a layout I made for the current challenge at Frosted Designs, which is to use things found in the sky. Here is my layout:

I cut all the butterflies from a piece of Jenni Bowlin paper.

This photo was taken at Leah's first equestrian show when she was 7! She received a first place & third place ribbon. We were so very proud of how well she did!

Vroommmmm....

Hey y'all!
I have been meaning to do a post for days, but it's been a busy week here. And the days & hours have been zooming by! Our school book fair was this week at school & guess who was co-chairing it?!
So from last Thursday until today, I have been back & forth to school taking care of book business! I am exhausted & ready for the weekend!!! The kids are glad it's over too, as they had to be at school early & stay late everyday w/ me. I heard lots of complaining but it was worth their while, as they both got some new books out of he deal!
Here is my latest layout. I used this sketch from Scrap Friends:

I used a Crafter's Workshop mask & sprayed my bg paper w/ a blue mist.

I added some scraps of paper from my stash; some Bella Blvd. washi tape (thanks again Jaclynn!); some wood veneer circles from Studio Calico & the alphas are AC Thickers.

I also broke out my We R Memory Keeper's stamp roller. Love this easy tool!!

Everything here is from Bella Blvd.with the exception of the ribbon, which is from Lovebug Creations. I used the "Icy Sky" ribbon to pull the card together. It looks perfect with the patterned paper! You can check it out &  get some for yourself in the store.

Challenge Me Happy

Happy Easter!

Hey everyone and Happy Sunday!
Today I am sharing a card that I made for my daughter for Easter.

I started with a piece of patterned paper from My Mind's Eye. I found a template online for the bunny & cut it out of white cardstock. The gorgeous ribbon here is from Lovebug Creations and their newest line, "Royal Shimmer". The color I used is called "Princess Danika" and can be found in the store. These ribbons have a touch of sparkle to them. They are simply beautiful!   The bunny's tail is a makeup puff from a jar of powder that I did not use. The alphas are AC Thickers.

Tag-You're It!!

Hey friends! Happy Friday!!!
It's been a crazy week here. I was sick with a cold that I caught from Tyler; we had snow on Wednesday & the kids were home from school and Drew & I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary!! WOW! It doesn't seem possible that we have been married that long ago! I still remember the day we met like it was last year. Time sure has flown by, but I also can't remember my life without Drew in it! (We began dating when I was 19.)

The kids really enjoyed their snowday! We only got about 3 inches but it was enough for them to play outside in it with friends & build snowmen. Now I am ready to move onto Spring!!

The newest challenge is up at Southern Girls Challenges. It is to use a tag(s) on your project. Easy-peasy, right?! Head over to see the design teams' creations & link up! We love to see what you all create! There are also some fabulous prizes up for grabs!
Here is the layout I made:

I used Tim Holtz distress ink to color the tag then added small alpha stickers from Cosmo Cricket to create my title.

Girls Day Out Featuring LBC

Hey y'all!
I want to share a layout that uses the newest spring collection of ribbons from Lovebug Creations. All of the new collections are beautiful but I was able to work with "Heaven and Earth". These ribbons truly are heaven to work with. The texture is fabulous!

The color I chose to add to this layout is "Pink Clouds". It matches the patterned paper from Crate Paper perfectly!!  

All elements here are from Crate with the exception of the alphas from AC Thickers; the clock charm &  the blue journal frame.

I started with this sketch from My Creative Sketches:

Leah & I went with her 2 female cousins, my sister, sil & Leah's best friend to see the Rockette's Christmas Spectacular 3 years ago. It was a fantastic sow & a memory we'll cherish for ever!
