You are a godsend to me today! The kids were home from school Monday & yesterday due to snow, & I so needed them to go back today. I have so much to do & having the kids at home, while as nice & relaxing as it can be, puts a crimp in getting things done. They went in 2 hours late today but at least that gives me some time to get things accomplished.
Today is my favorite aunt's birthday, so I made her this card: Happy birthday Aunt Mary!!
I cut the circle from a piece of patterned paper from Echo Park. The ribbon "flower" is made using
Simple Blue rumple ribbon from the
Star Spangled collection. I added a Prima gem to the center for a touch of bling. The edges of the card are inked in a dark blue ink.
Tomorrow my husband & I will celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary!! How is that possible?! I know he really doesn't appreciate my crafting as much as he could but figured I needed to make him a card anyway!
The orange chevron paper is from Echo Park and the patterned paper that I fussy cut is from Pink Paislee (love it!). Here I used the
Caddy Blue "On the Edge" rumple ribbon and tied it around the edge of my card. The sentiment is a stamp from
Jaded Blossom from their "Wedding Wishes" stamp set. I hope he enjoys it!
