A Lovely Gift

Hey y'all! I hope this day is treating you well! We are fighting off colds around here & trying to get healthy for the New Year!
I have a post to share today featuring flair & sequins from The Crafty Pickle. I made a layout using this sketch from Stuck?! Sketches:

Here is my page:
I started by stamping the circles on my cardstock. I then added strips of paper from my stash. I love, love, love using up scraps!!

The black & white striped paper is from Glitz & the multi-colored snowflake paper is from Imaginisce. The stars are from Pink Paislee & the journal card is from Pretty Little Studio.

Here is a closer look at the red & white flair button from TCP. I love how festive it is! I also love how well it matches the paper here from Elle's Studio. You can get a good look at the Christmas sequins mix here too.
The crown is from Um Wow Studios & I misted it red then added some coarse glitter.

This arrow flair button is glittery & the perfect accent to my Christmas page!

There's more of the yummy Christmas sequins & the ornament die cut is from Pink Paislee. My alphas are from Fancy Pants.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a crafty day!

Creating with Sketches

Hey y'all! Good Sunday morning to you.
With summer upon us & all the busyness behind us, I had time to play along with some sketch challenges this  month. And I hope to get more done in the next 8 days!

Also, a quick reminder that the 50% off sale ends tomorrow at Lovebug Creations. Use my code STEP50 to receive half off your entire purchase!! Now is the time to stock up on ribbon, mesh & more for your summer crafts! Click here to start shopping!!!

And now on to my layouts
These layouts are using sketches from Creative Scrappers. The first one uses their sketch #270:

And here is my layout:
I started with the patterned paper from Imaginisce & splattered mist about. I raided my paper scraps drawer to punch the squares (love using up those scraps!). The number paper is from Studio Calico, as is the kraft circle border, the wood veneer star burst & the star stickers.
The paper banner is from Basic Grey & I have been hoarding it for quite some time! So glad that I finally got it on a page-I love it!! My alphas are, of course, AC Thickers.
I added a few more bits & pieces from my stash. I adore this picture of Ty & his best friend Charlie in 2009 at Charlie's super hero party! They were so little & sweet!

The next sketch is also from Creative Scrappers, #271:

And my layout:
This page also used lots of scraps from Echo Park & Basic Grey. I love the gold doily paper from Crate paper & have been fussy cutting the doilies to make it last!
This was fun to create! I love adding bits & baubles to my pages & throwing things on here & there! Washi tape, buttons & sequins-oh my!! The ink & paint around the edge came last.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope it's a great one! Drew & I are off to see Zach Brown & the kids are staying with my mom & sister!

Scrap on!

Let It Snow

Happy Friday y'all!!
Today I want to share my latest layout created with some of my favorite Lily Bee papers.
While we did get some snow yesterday, I didn't get any pictures of the kids in it as there wasn't much left by the time they got home from school! So this picture is an older one of Ty trying to make a snowball.
I applied the paint dots using a pencil eraser to the white cardstock. Here are some detail photos:

I am playing along with this challenge at 1 2 3 Get Scrappy:

I used the left row down-tear the edges, old book page & snow flakes.

Supplies:
-Lily Bee papers-Destination & Pinwheel
-Lily Bee Head Over Heels journal card
-Imaginisce journal spot (Let It Snow)
-Teresa Collins buttons
-flair button & wood veneer arrow from Scraptastic
-misc book paper & sequins
-Martha Stewart arctic snowflake punch

Thanks for stopping by!

Mama's Mesh Monday!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday- Mama's Mesh Monday!!
Today is also my nephew's 19th birthday-happy birthday, Hayden!

I made him a card using Lovebug Creations' Mama's Mesh. I wanted the card to have a masculine, mature feel to it & struggled with a design. After much hemming & hawing, this is what I came up with:

I started with the textured cardstock and adhered Mama's Mesh in black from the Hallo-Mesh collection. I then punched squares from scrap cardstock and adhered the burgundy mesh from the Merry Mesh collection to them. The sentiment is stamped using an Imaginisce stamp and Stamp It Up ink.
The "19" chipboard numbers are Thickers from American Crafts.

Hopefully this card will be well-received! (he is only 19.)  LOL!!

I hope you all have a fabulous day.
Thanks for visiting me!!

I used papers from Imaginisce and the "holiday cheer" diecut is also from them.

Inside I placed 2 gift cards and now I am ready to present a Christmas gift to one of my nieces or nephews!

Imaginisce Layouts

Happy Thursday y'all! And Happy Halloween!!!!
Today is going to be a fun, but very busy day! We are having our usual pizza dinner with family & friends before we head out to trick-or-treat. And today begins the week & a half long Book Fair at the kids' school.  A lot going on, but it is good!

I wanted to pop in real quick and share the latest layouts I made. These both use Imaginisce papers.
The first one is a camping layout. The photos are from when my kids camped out with their cousin in his backyard! They LOVED it!!

I did a 2-page layout!!I had so many pictures that I wanted to include so I felt it was warranted!
Page one

Page two

The tags are all from Elle's Studio & the chipboard hexagons are from Maya Road. I misted them with Glimmer Mist.

The alphas are AC Thickers in glitter foam.

I am entering this layout in the October challenge at Scrap the Girls.

The next layout is a Christmas one and the photo is from 2008!!

I used Imaginisce's "Colors of Christmas" collection for this page.

Isn't that hedgehog the cutest?!

The alphas are, again, AC Thickers. The stars are from Pink Paislee.

That's all for now! I hope you all have a great day & if you celebrate Halloween, may it be a fun one!
Stay scrappy!
~Stephanie
