I swear these summer weeks are flying by at full speed!
As much as the kids' fighting & needing to be entertained can be exhausting, I wish the time would slow down. Before I know it, they will be heading back to school & I know I'll miss them! All those times I said I couldn't wait for them to grow up, I'd take it all back in a heartbeat now! Time goes by in a blink & I never realized in the thick of it just how much I would miss it.
But on another note, here is my project for Lovebug Creation's this week!
A friend & neighbor, Lyndsay had a baby boy at the beginning of the month. I made this for her new baby, Henry:
I used a scrap of paper for the background, then fussy cut the two doilies from a piece of Echo Park paper. Behind the doilies, I placed Simply Blue & Simply White rumple ribbons from the "Star Spangled" collection. The alphas are AC Thickers & the button in the center of the small doily is also from AC.
I hope you all have a great day! We will be doing laundry & packing as we are headed to D.C. for the weekend!
Have a great one!!
