Top 15 of '15 (& A Giveaway)

Hey guys! It's been a long time since I have been around this ole blog! Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays.
Our holidays were good but busy. My sis, brother-in-law & nephew were in town so we spent a lot of time with them.
New Year's Eve was very quiet & we stayed home. My mom & her husband, my sis, bro-in-law & nephew came over & Leah had 3 friends come spend the night.
Ty has been sick with an unbearable cough & cold for the past week & w are hoping he can go back to school tomorrow!

I want to do a quick post with my favorite projects of 2015. I didn't do as much scrapping or crafting this year, so I hope I can come up with 15!!
Here they are (in no particular order):  And if you can get through the entire post, there is a giveaway at the end!

1. I loved the way this card turned out. It started with a sketch from Sketch "N Scrap.
2. This layout uses mostly Bella Blvd products & started with a sketch from SOUS.
3. This page also uses Bella Blvd goodies and began with a sketch from My Scraps & More.
4.These mason jars were so fun to decorate for Valentine's Day! (featuring flair from The Crafty Pickle.)
5.I loved the Capture collection from Basic Grey. This layout began with a sketch from My Scraps & More.
6.This page uses a mix of Basic Grey's Capture collection & Simple Stories' I Am collection (which was probably my all-time favorite collection of the year!).
7. Here I mixed I Am with October Afternoon's Saturday Morning & love the end result!
8.There is a lot going on on this page, but I love it & the subject matter.
9.This simple page began with a sketch from MSAM.
10.This card was created for CAS-UAL Chic using CAS-UAL Fridays stamps.
11.Here is another page using a sketch from MSAM. It was so fun designing for Audrey!
12.This page had me pulling out lots of old supplies & I love that I finally used them!
13.This card was also created for CAS-UAL Chic. I really enjoyed using string on my projects this year!!
14.I loved this line from Pink Paislee, even though it's a couple years old. A true oldey buy goody!
15.And lastly is this simple layout that I created to play along with Scrapbook Circle's sketch challenge. Look at those sweet faces!!

Now for my giveaway! Comment here & tell me which of the above 15 projects is your favorite. I'll choose one winner on Friday, January 8 to receive a box of scrappy goodness from me!

Loving My Life

Hey y'all. Is it hot where you are? It's supposed to reach 102* here today! That means that even the pool won't be refreshing. The oppressive heat is the one thing that I can't stand about summer! We will get through it, though. And next week we'll be at the beach so it will be fine!
We do  love to travel in the summertime & have many wonderful memories of fun family trips!
I have created a PL page to share some of  those memories.

This was a trip from 2010 when we went to Chincoteague. It was very relaxing & fun. We went on a dolphin tour, saw wild horses & as always, enjoyed time together!

All of my journal/PL cards are from We R Memory Keepers. And all of my flair buttons are from The Crafty Pickle.  I used the dragonfly from the Cute Bugs set and the bee, butterfly & bird from the Spring season collection.

The "travel often" wood frame is from Studio Calico.
The large flower is from Basic Grey.

I love the flat back flair buttons! They are less bulky than most & fit nicely in my albums. And they are so darn cute!!
You an check out all the flair, & more, in the shop

Have a great day & stay cool!

Full of Wonder

Hey y'all. Happy Hump Day! I will say, when the kids are out of school, I almost never know what day of the week it is!! LOL!

I am pretty late in sharing this layout that I created using the fun sketch from My Scraps and More. Here is a look at sketch #107 created by Audrey:

Isn't this awesome?!!!!
And here is my page:

I love the strip here & stuck pretty close to the original sketch.
My paper strips are all from my scrap stash. I love when I can use them up!!

I honestly get so excited when I can rummage through my stash & pull together pieces to use on my projects! That is exactly what I did here. The "explore" sticker is from Crate Paper. The cork stars & hearts are from Jillibean Soup.

The flower in the center of my doily is from Basic Grey & is old, from their Serenade collection

The "sunshine day" sticker & enamel dots are from My Mind's Eye, Market Street.

The "wonder" & "love life" epoxy stickers are from Heidi Swapp.

I had a heyday pulling things together on this page!!

You have until the end of the month to play along at a chance at this month's prize.

Link up your layout here! We love seeing your creations!

MSAM #106

Hi friends & followers!
We are busy bees around here getting ready for the end of the school year, going  to baseball games & lessons, Leah is babysitting 2 days a week after school & getting ready to try out for cheerleading at her school.
I am late in sharing my latest layout using the fabulous sketch from My Scraps & More.  Sketch #106 was created by the amazing Ana Castro:

Here is my page:

The kraft filmstrip papers are from Fancy Pants. They worked perfectly with this sketch!! (I knew I was hoarding them for a reason!)

I used a mix of stickers & embellishments here, too. The phrase stickers, suitcase & heart stickers are all from Simple Stories I Am collection.

The "my favorites" sticker is from Basic Grey's Capture collection.

There is a wonderful prize up for grabs this month!

Then & Now

Hey y'all! I am here to share my latest layout using the current sketch from Stuck On U Sketches. It was created by Leah Schaeffer. Here is a look:

Isn't it so fun?! Here is what I created:

I started by using pink & blue watercolors on the white cardstock. I found this old picture of Leah on her toy horse from when she was 16 months old. Who knew then that she would grow up to ride live horses?!

I used a mix of journal cards, die cuts & stickers from Simple Stories I Am collection & some other stickers from Basic Grey's Capture collection.

I had so much fun creating this & loved doing the watercolor effects. I will definitely do it again!

I hope you get the chance to play along & link up with us!

Thanks for stopping by!
Take care!!

Car Lover-Pulling Out the Old!

Hi friends! It's my day to share my layout using the April 24th Stuck On U Sketches sketch created by Nanne. How awesome is this sketch?!

I love the versatility here &  the room for multiple photos!
Here is what I created:

I dug deep into my stash for this one! I knew I had some die cut patterned paper in my bin from ages ago (think 2009) that would be great for this page! The paper is from My Mind's Eye and I have been hoarding it for YEARS! The picture is also an older one, from 2010, of my son checking out a dragster at a local pumpkin patch. He was all about cars, & all vehicles for that matter, when he was little!

The corrugated alphas are from American Crafts, the "slow down" acetate shape is from Studio Calico & the 50c die cut is from MME.

All of the small label stickers are fro Jenni Bowlin (also year old) & the "good times" sticker is from Basic Grey.

We would love it if you played along with us! You can link up here here if you do. We love to see your creations!
Thanks for visiting & stay crafty, y'all!
