Celebrate-A Mini Album

Hey y'all & Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!

I know it's busy & chaotic today, but I have my last post up over at Paper Wings Productions. I have had so much fun guest designing there these past two months!
For my post today I am sharing a holiday mini album. It is a folio from Tim Holtz that I was sent by Carrie. Here it is I it's unaltered state:
Advantus - Tim Holtz - Idea-ology Collection - Small Folio

And here is a look at what I created:
I started by painting the album white & adding glitter while the paint was still wet. I added a doily that was misted with red mist. Mostly all of my papers & embellishments came from the fun & versatile Well-Dressed kit.
Here is a detailed shot of the cover:

Here is a look at the inside of this interactive album:
All of the envelopes hold small cards with my journaling on them.

The inside folder slips out & is a great spot to hold additional photos and memorabilia.

What a fun way to document a magical trip that we took to NYC at Christmastime a few years ago! I love that I can add as much. or as little, as I want to this folio to make it perfect for our memories.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Be sure to visit the store to see this kit and MUCH more!
Have a wonderful day, y'all!

What's Up Wednesday-Paper Wings Productions GDT

Hi y'all! I am sharing today another post for my design spot at Paper Wings Productions. Today I am hosting the What's Up Wednesday feature!

I have some winter themed cards to share. These will be great for the Christmas season, but also after the holidays are over, they can be sent as winter cards!!

I started by punching many snowflakes from different colored cardstock.

I saw the idea for these cards on Pinterest. I love the wreath made from snowflakes!!
I used glue dots to form a circle with my punched snowflakes.

On some cards I did only one layer of snowflakes and on others I added a few layers to give the wreath more dimension.

The snowflake & sentiment stamps are from the Winter Mix It Up Clear stamp set  and can be found in the store.

I added some glitter over some of the sentiments & snowflakes. I love the sparkly touch this lends to the cards.
I am all set to send out some handmade cards this holiday season!!
Thanks for visiting today! Make it a crafty one!

Peace, Love & Friends

Hey y'all & Happy Saturday!! I have another layout to share for my guest design spot at Paper Wings Productions !
I have used again the September Mixed Media kit which is full of wonderful items, including My Minds Eye Market Street papers & diecuts, UmWow Studio chipboard and so much more!!
I started by splattering mist on my cardstock in black & gold.
I love the papers in this collection & wanted to showcase some favorites here. The black & gold striped paper makes a great anchor & from there, I added other papers on top.
The paper bow is adorable & works wonderfully on my feminine page! The resin flower on the top is from my stash. The mini alphas are from Tim Holtz & are also included in the kit, as is the acetate film strip.
Here you can see the chipboard glasses & crown from UmWow that I misted with green & gold mist. Love the way they look!
I used my scallop circle punch to add some half circles along the top & bottom of my page. Fringe scissors were used to add great dimension to the scrap tissue paper under all my paper layers!

You can find this kit, along with so much more, in the Paper Wings shop.
Make it a crafty day!

Scrapbook Saturday

Hey y'all and happy Saturday! I am beyond thrilled to be guest designing for Paper Wings Productions this month! I have a Scrapbook Saturday post to share today.

The scrapbook layout I am sharing with you was created using the September Mixed Media Kit. This kit is chock full of great papers, chipboard & fun ephemera!

I knew I wanted to put the gorgeous My Mind's Eye paper to good use, so I pulled out some of my circle punches, selected some of my favorite papers from the 6x6 pad and went to town!

I used a 2-inch circle punch, a 1-inch scalloped circle punch & my favorite sunburst punch to use on the papers. I began by placing the largest ones in a circle around my page. I filled in with the smaller circles where necessary.

The chipboard pieces in the kit are from UmWow Studio & are so adorable. I love how well they work with the fun pictures of the kids at the apple orchard!
I took some alpha letters from my stash (Thickers) to create the title and a ticket to document the date, but everything else came from the awesome kit!!

Here is my completed layout

I hope I have inspired you to create this weekend! There is a fun challenge going on for the month of November on the Paper Wings blog. It is "Anything Goes", so get creating & link up to win!!

Have a crafty day!
